Love you A Latte Cartridge

There was a fundraiser at my son's school and I made a sign for the Warm Drinks
Booth with the Love you A Latte Cartridge. Lots of fun cuts on this cartridge I am sure I will use it again.  Cars pulling up in the parking lot were able to see the sign and we actually made money for the athlete's. It was a win win.

A Quilted Christmas - Featured Cartridge of the Month

Sorry this post is so late in the month, but I have been very busy!!!

This month I am featuring the A Quilted Christmas Cartridge by Cricut. I bought it last year and never used it so I thought what better time than to use it now for some Christmas Cards.

This card I cut out  Santa3 on page 32 at 3" and MrsClaus on page 32, also at 3". I used a  Recollections pre-cut card, size is 5 in by 6.5 in. The Merry Christmas sentiment is one that I found at Wal-Mart, can't remember the brand as it was out of the wrapper.

More Copic Practice

Here are a few pictures that I have been using as practice to learn how to use my Copic markers. Now it is time to put my practice to work. I will be making Christmas Cards using some of the stamps you see you here. Still getting the hang of shading, but I think with practice it will get better!

My Scrapbbook Expo 2013 Haul

I attended the Scrapbook Expo this year and this is what I purchased. I went there looking for the Copic markers in the Skin Tone Colors and found a few others as well. I had already purchased the Sea and Sky set from Hobby Lobby a little while back and I have fallen in love with coloring again.

Coloring with Copics

My first attempt at using Copic Pens. I used the Sea and Sky Pen set for all 3 images. Now I see what all the buzz is about these pens. I know I am a little late using them, but better late than never. I see on picture number 2, the hot air balloon, where I didn't use the right strokes all the time. This was just practice. Enjoy your crafts!!!

Featured Cartridges of the Month

I was reading a Cricut Cartridge Magazine and an idea came to me. The magazine always has a featured cartridge. SO I thought this would get me to using the cartridges I have and I have a lot of cartridges. Love to scrapbook and make cards. Just using my imagination takes me to a whole different world. I will be starting off with the A Frightful Affair and Happy Hauntings Cartridge's. This will get some Halloween cards and some decorations completed for work. This will also allow me to keep my blog up to date. So off I go to create some cards and decorations with the theme of Halloween in mind.

These were created last year using the Happy Hauntings Cartridge!!!!

Catching up

Hello all,

I need to catch up on some much needed creating. I have been so busy with everything that life has to offer that I haven't had time to scrapbook or card make. My poor blog is looking a little on the sad side. I have lots of projects to finish and lots to start. My daughter graduated last month, my son started basketball, we as a family started mini weekend getaways and yep you guessed it, there are lots of photos to start my pages and cards with. So with that said, stay tuned for more project posts soon. Getting back to my work-space below. happy scarppin' and card-making everyone.
